H for Harmony

Man lives in enduring harmony
In the wonderful vast universe
With all its creatures, varied and  diverse
Some big and some tiny.

Some hostile  and many gentle
Some rugged and a few fearful
Some harmful and many helpful
While many are simply beautiful.

The colourful  butterfkies and the humming  bees
The mighty forests with the giant trees
The tall mountains with snow clad peaks
The flooded rivers coursing the countries

The turbulent seas staying within  shores
The seasonal rains unfailingly falls
The sun, moon and stars making regular seasons
The nature's fury is restrained always.

Man in peace manages to reside
With all of God's creations side by side
Grateful to the Lord for blessings countless
Basking in His love that is ever boundless

Chaste amongst the rest
Dainty, fine, silken to touch
Purity echoes.

Today's Flowers: T for Thankfulness

Eyes seized its beauty
Hands clasped it so tenderly
My heart swells with joy.

And I pause for a moment, to say a prayer of thankfulness....

Thank you my dear Lord
for these beautiful flowers
and for the bountiful showers!

Thank you my dear Lord
their beauty adorns every bower
and not leaving  even the high tower!

Thank you my dear Lord
for your awesome amazing  power
and one that none can overpower!

Thank you my dear Lord
for your presence in our midst ever
gracious is your love withdrawn never.

Today's Flowers: God's Grace...

For by grace we are saved through faith
Not by good works, lest any man should boast
It is the gift of God!

Healing the Lonely Heart!

Are you lonely?
Look at the flowers
bathed  in morning dew…
Are you depressed?
Smell the flowers filled
with  sweet fragrance…
Are you broken hearted?
Admire the flowers
clothed in various hues…

Do the sweet soft petals
Smile at you as the flower enthralls?
A wondrous creation indeed
from nature's heaven
Ridding the mind of tiresome burden!

Fair and beautiful flowers
Some blooming in the morning grass
Some adorning the lovely bowers
And a few still in buds like a bashful lass
The humming bees hovering in rapturous glee
With chirping birds flying in a musical spree...

When you look at
the colorful, beautiful flowers
Do they fill you with boundless passion?
suffusing your heart with pure love?
caressing softly your empty soul?
filling it in plenty with joyous dreams?

Yes, God is omniscient
He knows how to heal
the lonely, the depressed
the broken-hearted...
Let us thank Him for
these flowers galore!

Today's Flowers: God's Creations

God's lovely creations
Give joy to tired and worn soul
Rejoice at these gifts

Notes on the photos: I took these photos yesterday, in my best friend's house. A few years back, I grew these Euphorbias in front of our house, but when the owner reclaimed the area I had been temporarily using to put up their residential home, it made me sad to give up the hobby I had enjoyed so much.

One pot of a newly propagated variety would cost me from 300p to 500 pesos the most. I was Euphorbia- crazy back then. I learned that these flowering plants thrived best in tropical countries like Philippines. It is learnt that these beautiful plants came from Thailand some ten years back. I still have more photos to share, come next week. These are just some of the varieties.
