Precious Time...

Kringgggg……kringggggg………..the alarm on my bedside kept blaring. This morning, I felt like squeezing it in my hand and stopping it from waking me up. Unwilling to get out of bed, I still feel groggy, giddy, with my eyelids drooping. Wanting to catch up the  sleep  that I lost while I kept tossing and turning for so many nights now.

It is always an effort and a struggle to get out of bed to get ready. But today being  a Saturday, I had no intention to be anything but lazy. After all it is only 4:19 AM in my lappy time and is too early I can still snuggle inside the blanket that is warm and comfy.

Sadly I could not sleep anymore after getting up for an urgent necessity. Reminded of the  promise I made to update my space soonest, to several of my buddies. Wanting to write but my mind still seemed to be lazy and hazy. Thoughts and ideas, groping from the dark, make me go crazy…:(

My mind is burdened with so many pressing concerns of late….Whatever I do, however much I try to manage my time, to keep my schedule right, I find my time is short while things remain undone on my plate. Isn’t that the dilemma of every busy body? I contemplate.

Time is always in short supply even on simple and mundane matters. Like sleeping, having breakfast, getting ready for work leaving me in tatters. What shall I do for bonding with family, singing,  enjoying being with nature. Have you found any way for me to get out of this discomfiture?

I love the raindrops beat

That follows the sweltering heat

While in comfort I seat

In my warm bedroom window

Wafts  the sweet aroma

And the appealing aura

Of the  cup of hot tea

With lemon and honey

The feeling makes me comfy

In sync with the musical sea

That captures the raindrops

Also falling on my roof top!

Good morning buddies…it’s so cold today and is raining very hard, I

feel lazy getting out of bed, leaving the warm comfort it gives.

But listening to the musical raindrops on my roof and the friggin’

cold atmosphere, I would love to enjoy some truly hot cup of tea with

lemon and honey... ;)

Subtle Deception

Deception comes in all manner

Clothed like a gentle sheep

The real wolf speaking as angel

The evil intent cleverly hidden deep

 

For deception readily to happen

There’s a greedy and lying lumpen

And a gullible and credulous person

Learning the hard way a bitter lesson

 

Deception is nothing but cheating

Promising a moon for a measly nothing

The end may justify his crooked means

The cheater in public eye surely demeans

 

Oh I wish I can his signs trace

His true colours showing on surface

For people to put him in proper place

By ripping such predator's heartless face.

It is better to suffer deception alone, than to involve a hundred or more.

Movie Marathon

Kids are home for Christmas vacation…so what can I do but watch movies with them one after the other, not in the big screen though but a small screen at home…got pissed off with our ISP, got tired calling them 3x a day to report that our net connection is not yet working…server probs…what an easy answer by a voice prompt? Or is it a voice prompt or some real human creature?

It is raining continuously rendering outing impossible.Yesterday was fun, 3 movies in a day? We rested only when it was time for meals then take a short nap only to be  back to movies again.

Prince of Persia – wow an action, adventure and fantasy movie all rolled into one and shall I say, sort of a mix of science fiction and with lots of humor too. I wish I could buy a ‘magic dagger’, which I could use to change the course of ‘destiny’ of my life.

I love Dustan and Tamina’s chemistry. I even like how they try to steal that dagger from each other. Just watch the movie, I am just speechless. A tear-jerker also at the end…. :P
