Miss Preety Made My Site this Pretty!

She’s Preetilata and she’s got a unique name that appears even in her mails and in her profile in her blogsite. She owns “My White Window”, one of the best in bloggerville.
I love the first design of her site, it was so beautiful. A lovely girl perched on a white window and looking outside said window, looks like she’s having some deep musings, wishful thinking. Maybe she’s thinking of somebody from far away. I was enticed to go back every now and then but quite hesitant to let her know of my presence there. I feel I didn’t belong to her group of elite writers.

When Lena was just too friendly to be one of my followers, I took the courage to say, follow her site and there I am as one of her followers.

And then, this girl, Miss Preety suddenly became my follower and in one of my blogs “What A Headache”, she posted a comment and asked me if I want that she will make a new template for my site. Hey, I didn’t have second thoughts and I readily answered, “yes, of course”.

So, here my dear followers, is the new template design of my site. Isn’t it beautiful? Isn’t it pretty like the artist behind it?

I will forever be indebted to you my dear young lady. I know you have a good heart as manifested in your voluntary will to design a site for me. We have some few chats while she’s working on my new template and I told her she’s already like a daughter to me but she prefers I am a big sister to her.

Miss Pree, words are not enough to express my gratitude to you. With this new template you’ve made for me, I will surely treasure it and use it forever as a design of my site, not unless you have again a new one in mind for me. He he he…:)

I tip my hats off to you, Ms. Preety Artist. May your tribe increase!!!
God bless!

Waiting for Miss Preety

Night and day I open my blogsite
Waiting and looking for Miss Preety
Owner of My White Window
Of the surprise she would give me

I want to let you know that I am excited
Over the surprise you have promised
For I want to let blogerville know
That there's a hidden talent in you

I even wrote a post about you
Proclaiming the artist in you
But that post can wait
Until I see the surprise I will get

I know you are so busy my dear
And I understand you loud and clear
But don't worry Ms Pree
Because I will continue waiting for you here.

Thank You Vyshu

Yes, thank you so much Vyshu for giving me that very important piece of advise should I will try again to redesign my site. I should have known it earlier.

Vyshu, life is really beautiful, isn't it? But for me, I always try to live in dreams, although it's only fantasy. There are so many beautiful things in life that are impossible to happen in the real world.

And I think, that's the harsh realities in life. Simply because you can't have everything you want in life. So I just try to live in it in my dreams...

Like all the other bloggers that I admire, you are one of the best in my list.

Keep up Vyshu because "Life Is Beautiful". You can really inspire so many others with your craft. And honestly, I am one of them.

HOW CAN I TELL YOU...

Dear followers;
As of now, I may pause from writing my short story cause I need to gather enough energy and proper mind set before I do so because in the past week, my life has been a total mess. But before I go back to active blogging, I promised an avid follower that I may write blogs, one day at a time. And before I do so, May I dedicate this song to a very good friend...(Kuya, again) (popularized by Lani Misalucha).

This song's for you . . .
How can I tell you that I love you, I love you
But I can't think of right words to say
I long to tell you that I'm always thinking of you
I'm always thinking of you, but my words
Just blow away, just blow away
It always ends up to one thing, honey
And I can't think of right words to say
Wherever I am babe, I'm always walking with you
I'm always walking with you, but I look and you're not there
Whoever I'm with, I'm always, always talking to you
I'm always talking to you, and I'm sad that
You can't hear, sad that you can't hear
It always ends up to one thing, honey,
When I look and you're not there
I need to know you, need to feel my arms around you
Feel my arms around you, like a sea around a shore
And - each night and day I pray, and hope
That I might find you, in hope that I might
Find you, because heart's can do no more
It always ends up to one thing honey, still I kneel upon the floor
How can I tell you that I love you, I love you
But I can't think of right words to say
I long to tell you that I'm always thinking of you
I'm always thinking of you....
It always ends up to one thing honey
And I can't think of right words to say....

From Russia with Love

For the past few weeks, I had secret rendezvous with a great writer from Russia who added much color into my world of blogging. After Colors of My Soul, then came a new site, The Colors Magazine, her new-found love and baby. After all, both her sites are interesting and appeals to readers of all ages. Maybe, her new site is a perfection of her older one.

She has added more colors into it. Aside from writing from her soul, she now writes for a wider circle of readers. She has added more interesting topics from questions and answers about relationships to a literary corner which deals with fiction and poetry, and all you wanted to ask about lifestyle plus articles on cuisines and recipes, not to mention exploring from Russia with love.

I have been a passionate follower of hers. She gave me much inspiration to write about life, love, experiences and to craft some poems. Because of her, I became a better and more interesting writer, though I can't boast yet of a wider circle of followers since my blog site is just 6 months old.

To you Lena, you are my star-blogger from Russia with love. It only proves that blogging transcends race. You maybe a Russian and I am a Filipino but we understand the same language in the world of blogging.

Lena, keep on! I am proud of you. Please consider me as your big sister.

Kuya

Kuya is the Tagalog term for big brother.

In real life, i don't have a kuya, meaning i don't have a kuya by blood relations. But i am proud to say that i found a real kuya in somebody else's.

If I were to choose a song that I can relate to how I met my kuya, it would be that song popularized by Gary Valenciano and Kitchie Nadal entitled: How Did You Know.

The first stanza goes this way: "I remember so well, the day that you came into my life. You asked for my name, you had the most beautiful smile. My life started to change, I'd wake up each day, feeling alright. x x x"

To me, my kuya is an epitome of virtue. That's why i became so close to him. But he's an absentee kuya. He comes to our place once in a while as he is so preoccupied with a very exciting new career.

If that song i have for kuya could be played on and on, i wouldn't tire listening to it because it says it all.

To you kuya, i adore you. What else, the last line of the song lyrics says it best, what with its breathless rendition done by Gary V.

May your tribe increase, kuya!

Mornings with Recy

Recy, a friend I adore, a friend I admire! She's a childhood friend of mine. She's been my friend for several decades now.

Mornings with Recy are great mornings. She greets me with the following messages sent through texts. And I want to share them with you:

"Sometimes, life can be much the SAME way...one minute we think we are on the RIGHT path and suddenly the path is filled with OBSTACLES...when we become CONFUSED, remember, we can ask GOD for DIRECTIONS"...

"Live with no excuses and Love with no regrets. When Life gives you 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile."

"Because YOU are SPECIAL. . . and wonderful, I pray that you be encircled by GOD's LOVE and care, today and always, God bless!"

"Every time I begin to feel that there isn't enough strength left in me, I end up knowing that there's more in Him. God sustains us."

"Sometimes in life, you really have to decide whether you're half full or half empty. It may appear the same, but it doesn't feel the same."

"God set a place for us in His heart, not in this world. Because the world is temporary. . . but in God's heart, we are special and blessed forever."

"We may regret many things in life, but we'll never regret being too kind or too fair. Care. . . Share. . . Forgive. . . and life will be brighter and happier! Happy Life! Happy Morning!"

"Enjoy life no matter how hard it may seem! When life gives you a thousand reasons to cry . . . show the world that you have a million reasons to SMILE!"
"Good friends care for each other, Close friends understand each other, True friends stay forever. . . beyond words. . . beyond time . . . beyond distance. . ."

"Let the blessings of God flow in your life like springs of living water or rivers that never run dry. God cares for you, today, tomorrow and forever."

"The wise man does not expose himself needlessly to danger, since there are few things for which he cares sufficiently, but he is willing, in great crises, to give even his life, knowing that under certain conditions it is not worthwhile to live."

"When the world pushes you down to your knees. . . then you are in the best position to pray."

"Life forms us. . . . sin deforms us . . . church informs us . . . but only God transforms us! Be safe, allow Him to make a better you!"
"Walls of worry surround us everyday and though we try, we could never run away. But remember that walls only block the sides, never the sky, so look up and leave your worries to God."

"In life, there are lots of negative people watching your next move, desperately waiting for us to fail, and worst even praying for us to give up. Just don't mind them. Let them egg. It just doubles the fun of living and surviving. Let's keep in mind that failures and problems are not something we should be scared of. . . they could even lead to breakthroughs and great discoveries. Keep that head up! Continue doing God's will, because as long as He is with you, it's all that really matters!"

"Remember that you are worth not for who you are, but for what others have become because of you."

"God hears what is not spoken and understands what is not explained . . . for His LOVE doesn't work in the lips nor in the mind. . . but in the heart!"

"The more God gives you, the more responsible He expects you to be!"

To you, my beloved Recy, thank you so much for your morning messages. I love you and because of you, I try to become a better person, too.
