for the boundless knowledge
like a li'l inquisitive girl
eager to learn the ABC
eager to master 1, 2 3
Life is an endless quest...
for the eternal truth
why the good and pious suffer
while the wicked and cunning thrive
unsure of God's mysterious ways
Life is an endless quest...
For the breeze of true freedom
freedom of expression and religion
freedom from pains and oppression
freedom from hate and mindless wars
Life is an endless quest...
For the search of true love
two hearts that beat as one
soul mates made for each other
a lovely match made in heaven
Life is an endless quest
For a closer relationship with God
for living a life of righteousness
for finding completeness in Him
and bask in His eternal glory.
Yes, endless is the quest
but treasure the knowledge
the truth, the freedom, the love
we have obtained and received now
as an immediate gesture
of gratefulness to our Almighty God!

I liked this. Life IS an endless quest, but I read something yesterday that reminded me that, though there will always be something more in the future, something else to work toward, you should enjoy the times in between and not always be striving to move forward at the expense of all else.
