Oh, Men!!!

Folks, before I will go on a holiday a couple of days from now (wish me luck and happiness buddies...*wink, wink*:)......I would like to post a kilometric blog and I hope I will not lull you to sleep reading this. It is a mixture of some thoughts that may make you smile, that may make you hate me, especially the guys (peace!) and that may give you second thoughts (for the young at heart) especially the ladies....:)!!!

It took me several days to pen this, and then I found out that I can go on and on writing about men, (Oh, Men!), but I may be harboring ill-feelings if I won't stop just for the right period!!!Lols!!!

So here buddies, fasten your seatbealt and let's have some kind of fun...(not really) coz' I know every other guy who'll read this will start bawling at me helplessly and in silence (I am out of reach, you know!) and if it would be possible for them, may start cursing me under the sun! Lols!!!

To the ladies, I admonish you that you must heed to me if you wish to have a happy life, because I wish that you must not or should I say:

Don't love a talkative man

he always feels he has

the gift of gab!

What Sunny Days Can Bring

One late afternoon

after arriving from office

I went outside the house

and saw children happily playing

with their jumping rope

though it was not as sunny a day

the temperature was so cold

the cool breeze brought a chill to the bones

And with a strong desire to get warm

I prodded these three lovely lil' girls

that I play and have fun with them

so I jumped and jumped as two

held the rope on both ends

and the youngest aged two

joined with me in jumping

What a lovely sight to behold

an old Mom like me

trying to have much fun with the

lovely and cute little girls

all were giggling and shouting with glee

as they see me jumped, jumped and jumped

Oh how happy it is

to feel like a child once again

it gives a calming effect

to frayed nerves after a day's work

it relaxes and stretches muscles

to my real great comfort

"We will do it again"

I promised these three little girls

and they jumped with much glee

with such a promise I made.

The Voices

Visually she was not mistaken. She saw it with her big brown eyes. Her eyes cannot lie. There were Gabrielle and Lucifer beside her. Lucifer looked so deceiving in his smiles while Gabrielle smiled innocently at her.

Obediently she listened to both of them. "Miriam, you're beautiful, attractive, intelligent and of course look tantalizing in my eyes", Lucifer whispered. "But for quite sometime now you're sad. You looked like you've lost some precious toys and fumbling on every nook and cranny in your room, but can't find them. Why don't you go out and have some fun? Snatch the first guy you would meet as you step out on the pavement. Go disco dancing and drinking until the wee hours," he said, and added with a grin, "Then do some naughty things with your guy".

In Gabrielle's wish to comfort Miriam and to negate those devilish insinuations of Lucifer, she whispered into her ears "Oh, don't listen to that moron dear, he'll only ruin your life. Remember, life is not a bed of roses. At some points in your life, you become weak, fragile, vulnerable to your feelings. It's just that we need to be strong to overcome these feelings because I know that God will not give us trials that we cannot hurdle or surpass victoriously. When God closes a door, He opens a window, right?

Confused and bewildered, Miriam doesn't know to whom she'll listen. Lucifer's prodding was so tempting and Gabrielle's counsel was so good. She felt  safer continuing to brood on her disappointments. 

Entangled with such thoughts, she suddenly heard Lucifer hurling invectives against Gabrielle. "Who the hell are you? I just wanna make Miriam happy and you could only say and utter Godly words to her. Your pieces of advice will never make her happy. Veer off from her, now!!!!" Lucifer shouted at Gabrielle.


Silently Gabrielle cried but hid it from Miriam.  She was not there for her own comfort but to encourage and uplift Miriam's spirits.  As Gabrielle turned back to Miriam she realized Miriam poised a two-bladed knife above her chest.  "Miriaaaaaaaaaaaam!  Nooooooooooo!" screamed Gabrielle.  Miriam was panting, gasping for air.  Her lungs frozen.  Her stomach churned with terror.  Desperation soaked her clothes in sweat. She groped for the knife.  "Where is the knife,” she whispered.  She stole another tight breathe. “Where is that knife?”  Knock, knock, came sounds from her door.  "Mom, you're late now, aren't you going to office?” her lil' lovely Princess asked.  "Oh no . . . yeah, I will, thanks Sweetheart," she sighed.

The Lucky Chinese Tag: Eminent Eights

If it was not for Leo who tagged me with this, i'd be damn lazy doing it...of course, the year isn't a good start for me here, doing some tags, but again, the title says: The Lucky Chinese Tag: Eminent Eights, and am positive it will really do me good...:) Should I be consistent with the title?

I was number two in his list, (hit list, lolz...) so I am ashame if I do not give in to his wish/whims and caprices...lolz...peace to you son!!!

8 Things that Happened Yesterday

1. I bumped my head on a wall inside my bedroom...:(..."poor wall" my blogging-buddy told me..:(  i saw shooting stars right before my eyes...lolzz...!

2. I learned some few Tamil words...'NAAN UNNE KAADALIKKIREN"....and mailed it to my friend...:P

3. I was watching all day a photo of my friend on his FB account...the only photo that exists in his account, compliment of a relative....yeyyyy...:)

4. I went on a fasting spree....then....*tears*...then

5. I got dizzy and almost passed-out...poor me...:(

6. I want to sleep but can't get one.....*sigh*...and again...*sigh*....:)

7. I bloghopped, planted sunflowers, bought a seeder...lolz....my coins which was almost 1M has been lessened....:)...addicted to FV...yayyy!!!

8. I expanded my Island Paradise, through the prodding of my sweet daughter...lolz...!

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
     Play farmville....duh! useless answer!

    Strictly did not keep it....i believe in flexibility in keeping new year's resolutions...

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
    With my kids.... the 7th year that my hubby is not with us for Christmas and New Year, sad,
      isn't it?

4. Did anyone close to you die?
    Yeah, my lovely granny and I cried hard coz she didn't bestow that beautiful genes she has in
     her...:)...yayyy..foolish answer...:)..:P

5. What countries did you visit?
     None so far...:( But in my dreams, a lot, been to Hawaii, the Caribbean and the North Pole, it was 
     really freezin cold there...yey...!

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
     Peace of heart and mind...

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
    June 12, independence day? and foremost Feb 16, my birthday, the happiest...:) Kuya knows 
    why...:)

    I reached a milestone blogging, one year old blog last Nov. 23, 2009...

     Many, space is not enough...but...there's no need to brood on failures, at the end of the horizon is a 
    better promise....:) What? Hmmmp... no need of elaborating!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
      Illness, oftentimes, caused by unhealthy eating lifestyle...yo-yo dieting...duh!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
      Can't remember any, but soon, anyways, i have something in mind that am gonna buy and give

      Education of my kids....college is expensive....:)

       I was able to teach my son to play the guitar? And he's far better than me now, see? Mentor

      Ride on a car with my very good and special friend and go to the airport to meet my hubby whose

      Life is beautiful, so why nurture sad thoughts...move on and spend every moment with good 
     friends as if it would be the last...:)..:)...:) I am about to spend a good time with a friend, soon!!!
