Let me sleep, let me sleep now...
And dream a wonderful dream
That I have wings and I can fly
Fly high up in the sky
And soar like an eagle
Carefree, powerful like an eagle
As free as the wind
Let my mind works in leaps and bounds
And attain unprecedented success
In this place called bloggersville
A place where there's a unique meeting of the minds
Great, wonderful, writers' minds
Where each and everyone who are part
Can understand the language they speak
They might come from different worlds
And speak a diversity of thoughts
Yet still understand each other
Wings, let me fly
Fly high up in the sky
**********************************************************************************P.S. My mind did fly high and won again badges for the month of December 2009. It was really an achievement for a neophyte like me (5 badges in a month). And let me share it with you. It is an honor, really!
Thanks so much dear Big Sis Amias....I Love You!!! (Note: Most Active Poet of the Month is equally shared by me and The Amateur Poet of Impromptu).

no, it's not a song but a couple of my readers commented that it sounds like a song!
i told them it can be and i need somebody to put the melody!
thank you so much dear!
Congratulations on winning the awards from last months Acrostics. Quite an achievement! Regarding your OSI poem; I have dreamed of flying before but always seem to wake up just before I land (crash). Dreams are like thoughts, where anything is possible. How to translate this to every day life so that we know those barriers like self-doubt, naysayers, and society cannot limit what we can achieve. Sore high and dream.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog. My best, Rob.
Hi Rob;
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind wishes...:) Yeah, it is quite an achievement, I didn't even expect it so because everyone at AO are very good, and I was really up to the challenge because I am dying to have Amias' books. But even before winning, Amias wrote me and asked of my mailing address so she could give the books as gifts and not as a prize. Now I am looking forward to receiving four books...:)
Yeah, we dream as if we are flying then a sudden crash! But I am taking it metaphorically when our minds just go on thinking wonderful thoughts to pen!
Thanks again Rob!
Good morning here in the Philippines.
