Indurated

Their relationship has been indurated

by faults
they learnt to forgive
by mistakes
they learnt to realize
by distance
they learnt to accept
by shortcomings
they learnt to fill up
by blames
they learnt to do away with
by fights
they learnt to lessen and avoid
by misunderstandings
they learnt to patch-up immediately

And came up with a healthy and loving relationship!

Written for One Single Impression (Prompt: Indurated)

    Hmmm....don't you know that my unique style is writing simply simple...that's it! yeah, it is...:)
    I so lack some high sounding words, thus i end up writing as simple as this.

  35. Amity, you have potrayed the love life of television Beaver's parents, June and Ward Cleaver.
    It's very nice, your characters are cemented in love.

  36. Jim,

    thanks a lot. but i do not have knowledge about that Beaver's parents (tv characters)

    but thanks for letting me know!

    a relationship is surely perfect if indurated in these ways!

    Have you read my acrostics at AO?

  40. Hi Cassiopeia;

    I guess everyone wishes to but that is almost perfect, isn't it?

    And perfect relationships happen only in fairytales?

    Good morning...:)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Love it! I read your comment on Jim's post and did not realize that the word meant "strengthened" as well as hardened. I went with hardened for my haiku, but I like what you did!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hi Patti;

    Yeah, I did have to consult a dictionary, a thesaurus for the meaning and what came up was that indurated is synonymous to strengthened, hence that was where I started thinking what to write.

    Thanks so much you love it Patti!

    Have a nice day!
