REALITY

Resiliently face
Each challenges
Amidst chaos
Life really
Is struggle
To make
You better

  1. Amity,
Thanks for the visit. Glad you liked the cat haiku. My oldest and noisiest cat snuck in the house this morning and is trying to help me type right now. She really loves the petting and is always willing to take a joint nap. I would love to try an acrostic or two. Look for it in the next day or two. You know, you can always celebrate the holidays in your heart anytime. One does not have to wait for a certain day of the year.

  3. Amity,
Oh no, you have the flu? I've got a cold, and that's bad enough
You are most welcome for the acrostic. I didn't write it for the contest. I wrote it simply because you suggested I try it and to honor our blogging/poetry acquaintence. I'll check out the rules for the future. Feel free to copy this acrostic and do what you like with it--it is all yours.

  4. Amity,
Here is a link to my other blog (which I am very behind on) http://www.closerlookbmg.blogspot.com/. It has more info. As far as the journals go, I’ll just say I was a girl in love trying to please a guy. I have regretted throwing them away ever since. I married the guy (he’s great), and he’s apologized for his part in the loss. Still, it was my foolish decision. If I had a better memory, it wouldn’t be so bad. On the bright side, I’m forced to dredge through my memories, digging deep, to recall things, and I have to write new and better things. Believe me, they are better.

I wrote the haiku acrostic with you in mind. Glad you like it. Hope it makes sense as an instruction on writing haiku.
