Hard As Nails

She has suffered much

From life’s torments and sorrows

But she remained resilient

And survived any race.

I have witness her deep faith

In God so great divine

She has taught us to be strong

Amidst any storms.

God must have seen her heart

And preferred she must be left behind

In an accident so fatal

Together with my beloved father.

I am so proud she’s my mother

Because of her zealousness and guts to survive

I want to shout to the whole world

“Mother you are the best”.

That is my mother

She is as hard as nails

For she was able to raise, love and care

All her beloved children so fair.
